Halifax Shopping Centre is located in the west end of the city. Two other malls, Bayers Road Shopping Centre,West End Mall, are within walking distance. West End Mall and Halifax Shopping centre are at most 5 min walk apart; Bayers Rd mall is an approximate 10-15 min walk from the other two. The Halifax Shopping Mall underwent major changes a few years back giving way to more ample free parking, and a nice facelift. It is two levels with many stores for every taste. As well there is a liquor store,and grocery outlet.

Keddys This lodging location is located on the St.Margarets Bay Road, about a 5 -10 min drive from the Halifax Shopping Centre.

Chebucto Inn This small but quaint 32 room inn is located about 5 min by drive to the 3 shopping centres,and probably 30 minutes if walking. This Inn has two levels,entrance is from the outside. They have ample free parking, restaurant facilities,a bar, and weekly entertainment. If driving, this location is about a 5-7 min drive to the downtown areas, and under 5 min to popular fast food outlets such as MacDonalds,Wendy's Harvey's Swiss Chalet(walking about 10 or so minutes). A local Pub, Jenny's, is just steps away. It is very close to the MacKay bridge as well. This Inn is also close to the Titanic gravesites, you could walk in 10-15 minutes, or drive in less than 5.
