The waterfront is literally that. A large portion is walkable and during the summer months is busy with tourists taking in the sights and planning their harbor tours which run daily. You'll also find Historic Properties, the Museum of the Atlantic,and many other shops,eateries,etc. Just up from the waterfront you can find the Nova Scotia Sports Museum as well. Any of the hotels listed in the Downtown menu listing would provide close proximity to this location.
